In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top air travel apps on Android in Central America showed varied performance trends, according to Sensor Tower data.

Viva saw a consistent decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 22K and ending the quarter at approximately 16K. However, weekly active users increased significantly from 310K to about 538K by the end of December.

Volaris maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, with numbers fluctuating between 16K and 24K. Its active users rose from 408K to nearly 492K, indicating strong engagement.

Aeromexico experienced stable download numbers, ranging from 7K to 9K weekly. Active users showed a downward trend, starting at 236K and decreasing to 188K by the end of the quarter.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker demonstrated a steady increase in revenue, peaking at $1.5K in the last week of December. Downloads fluctuated, with a notable peak of 17.7K in the week of December 23, while active users remained relatively stable around 100K.

AMX 2.0 showed a slight increase in downloads, from 3.4K to nearly 5K in early December before settling back to around 3.5K. Its active users grew from 21K to 28K over the quarter.
